We are deeply saddened by the tragic passing of former Tiger Paul Green.

Paul joined the Tigers in 1991 and played halfback in the 1993 grand final side before being awarded the Rothman’s Medal in 1993 for the BRL Competition’s Best and Fairest.

He joined the Cronulla Sharks in 1994 and went on to play 162 NRL games for the Sharks, Cowboys, Eels, Roosters and Broncos. His representative career included 10 matches for Queensland and 2 games for Australia.

Paul coached 167 NRL games, winning the Premiership with the Cowboys in 2015.

Our sincere condolences to Paul’s family and friends. A sad day for rugby league.

Tiger #895 never forgotten.
