The Brisbane Tigers are pleased to announce the appointment of Ben King as Head Coach for the 2027 and 2028 seasons. 

King, who recently returned to the club as Interim Head Coach, will lead the Tigers’ Hostplus Cup program under a two-year agreement. 

Since returning to the club, King has provided strong leadership, stability and direction for the playing group. His coaching experience, understanding of the Tigers and commitment to the club’s values made him the clear choice to lead the program into its next chapter. 

Brisbane Tigers CEO Mitch Cook said King had made an immediate impact since returning to the club.

“His experience, understanding of the club and vision for the future give us great confidence that he is the right person to lead our Hostplus Cup program over the next two seasons.”

King said he was grateful for the opportunity to lead the club beyond his interim appointment.
