The Tigers are refreshed, refocused & hunting a win heading north this weekend for their Round 1 catch up clash with the Northern Pride. The match will be streamed live from Barlow Park in Cairns on QPlus.tv from 5:30pm AEST.

This will be the first time the Tigers meet with the Pride in 2025, with both teams searching to secure more points under their belt before heading into round 9.

The Pride have lost 6 out of the 7 matches they’ve played this season, with their first win of the year being against the Ipswich Jets last weekend, the final score being 0-32.

The Tigers are only sitting a few spots above the Pride on the Hostplus Cup ladder and are determined to secure a win, coming off a loss to the CQ Capras last weekend with the final score being 34-20.

Head Coach Matt Church named his 24-man squad on Tuesday, making multiple changes to his extended bench, adding Sylvester Namo, who is set to make his club debut this weekend after signing with the club last week. Church has also added Jared Nauma to his extended bench.
