The Intrust Super Cup rewinds back to Round 12, with the matches which were originally scheduled for July 3-4, but postponed due to a lockdown, to be played this weekend.
The teams are back in action following a successful Activate! Queensland Country Week round where all teams travelled to rural and regional towns to play their Round 14 games and boost the local communities.

- The Burleigh Bears will host Brisbane Tigers in a rare Friday night game in the Intrust Super Cup and will be keen to turn around the result from the last time the teams met when the Tigers clicked into gear at home and stunned the visiting Bears 50-10.
- Since that game however, the fortunes of the two teams has diverged, with the Bears winning their past three games, while the Tigers have lost their past seven games to be in the midst of their worst ever Cup losing run.
- In the Tigers favour this weekend however is the fact they have won five of the past seven games between the two sides at Pizzey Park.
- Always strong at home, Burleigh have won their past eight home games and will aiming to inflict the fourth straight away loss on the Tigers.
- Sami Sauiluma has been named in the centres for the Bears in what is set to be his 98th Cup game and his 100th game for the club, a tally which also includes his two NRL State Championship appearances.
- Match official Dan Munroe was in the middle for his 50th Cup game last weekend in the Activate! Queensland Country Week match in Atherton.
