The Brisbane Tigers have continued to strengthen their playing roster ahead of the 2026 Hostplus Cup season, confirming a mix of new and returning players as Jim Lenihan’s preparations ramp up for his first season as the Brisbane Tigers Head Coach.
Following the 2025 campaign, new Head Coach Jim Lenihan has driven the Tigers recruitment and retention drive, signalling his intent to establish the club as a force in the Hostplus Cup competition, blending new talent with familiar faces.
New Signings
The Tigers have secured several exciting new additions to bolster their squad for 2026:
- Ben Liyou -from the Gold Coast Titans
- Zac Miles – from the Redcliffe Dolphins
- Harry Durbin – from the NZ Warriors NSW Cup
- Maea Mitchell – from Western Clydesdales
- Jarrett Subloo – from the Northern Pride
- Zane Dunford – from Manly Sea Eagles NSW Cup
- Jacob Sykes – from Manly Sea Eagles NSW Cup
- Kea Pere – from the Burleigh Bears
- Judah Rimbu – from the PNG Hunters – former Super League Player
- Solo Wane – from the PNG Hunters
