We’re currently accepting expressions of interests from Strength & Conditioning Coaches who are interested in leading the physical preparation of our Junior Representative teams;
- Cyril Connell Challenge (male)
- Mal Meninga Cup (male)
- Harvey Norman U17’s (female)
- Harvey Norman U19’s (female)
The successful candidates will have a minimum of;
- ASCA Level 1 qualifications
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
- Current Queensland WWCC (Blue Card)
- Sports Trainer & League safe qualifications are desired but not essential
Our Pathways Strength & Conditioning Coaches will lead the design and delivery of the physical preparation program for their respective squads, including the design and delivery of strength, power, speed, agility & conditioning programs. The role will also require the coach to work collaboratively with the Club Physiotherapist’s to facilitate the end stage rehabilitation process including the modification & delivery of strength, speed & conditioning programs.
At the Brisbane Tigers we value the coaching pathway and aim to provide opportunities for staff to grow & develop, mirroring the opportunities provided to players. These roles are supported by the Performance Manager & Hostplus Cup Performance Staff, including regular check in’s, feedback opportunities & resources. The ideal candidates work well in fast paced environments, have the ability to work collaboratively with internal & external stakeholders, have a philosophy on physical preparation, be open to feedback.
We see these roles as an exciting first step for someone looking to begin a career in Strength & Conditioning in the greatest game of all Rugby League.
These positions are honorarium based with the potential for future employment at the Brisbane Tigers.
