The Suzuki Brisbane Tigers are pleased to announce the signing of Queensland Maroon Brenko Lee, for the 2024 season.

The 28-year-old centre returns to Langlands Park, after first playing for the Club as in 2021.

Lee has played for the Dolphins, Brisbane Broncos, Canberra Raiders, Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, Melbourne Storm and the Gold Coast Titans in the NRL.

Lee will bring experience and passion to the Tigers pack and will play for the Tigers in the QRL’s Hostplus Cup competition.

Lee said “I felt like I had something to add to the squad.”

After meeting with my great friend, Ryley Jacks and Head Coach Matt Church, I wanted to come back and play.

I wanted to help them to continue with their success from last year.

I wanted to get back to enjoying my footy again. It’s a great family club that I wanted to go back to, Lee added.

Tigers Coach Matt Church said “Brenko is a great pick up for the Tigers. An Origin series and NRL premiership winner who has a passion for the club. He will add to some experience as well as helping our younger guys.”

Suzuki Brisbane Tigers CEO, Brian Torpy commented “The Club is very excited to have Brenko back at Totally Workwear Stadium wearing the gold and black jersey once more. Brenko is a very talented player, and at 28 years of age, still has a lot of football left in him”.

The Tigers kick-off their 2024 Hostplus Cup campaign against the Sunshine Coast Falcons on Saturday 10 March, at Totally Workwear Stadium. Kick-off is at 2:10pm.
