Round 11: Suzuki Brisbane Tigers 30 def Mackay Cutters 28
Our Hostplus Cup Tigers grabbed their third win in a row by edging out the Mackay Cutters away at BB Print Stadium.
The Cutters flew out of the gates with two tries in the first six minutes, before the Tigers started to find their groove and worked hard to tie the game up 18-all at half time.
The teams traded tries throughout the second half before Kane Bradley broke the deadlock for the Tigers in the 72nd minute.
Cutters winger Jaylan To’o crossed with seconds remaining in the game, but Brandon Finnegan could not level the scores on full time with his conversion attempt.

Running in six tries to three against the Cutters, the Tigers remain undefeated and move up to second on the Hastings Deering Colts ladder.
