Round 16: Suzuki Brisbane Tigers 36 def Northern Pride 10

The clash between the Suzuki Brisbane Tigers and Northern Pride was a physical battle in the rain and saw Alec MacDonald score a double in the Tigers win in Cairns.

The six-tries-to-two victory capped off a fantastic Indigenous Round week for our Hostplus Cup Tigers, who have risen to third on the ladder.

Round 11: Suzuki Brisbane Tigers 48 def Northern Pride 12

Our Colts recorded a clinical nine-tries to-two victory against the Northern Pride at Barlow Park that saw the Tigers keep the Pride scoreless in the second half.

Tigers prop Casey Morgan crossed the stripe on the back of running for 188 metres along with providing one try assist, one line break assist, one line break and seven tackle breaks.

It allowed playmakers like fullback Lachlan West to shine, with our No.1 scoring two tries and setting up another along with two line breaks, a line break assist and 146 running metres.

Our Suzuki Brisbane Tigers remain at the top of the Colts ladder, ahead of a tough away match against the high-flying Tweed Seagulls next weekend.

Tickets at the gate: Adults $10 | Concession $5 | Children under 15-years-old are free.

Getting to the game: It is recommended to catch public transport or get dropped off to avoid missing out on a carpark.
