Our Tigers strengthened their chances of a top-4 finish to the regular season by winning a nail-biter clash against Hostplus Cup ladder leaders Souths Logan Magpies at Totally Workwear Stadium.
After leading 20 to 6 at half time and two tries from Tom Rafter, stoic defence in the dying minutes of the game saw our Tigers edge out an always threatening Souths Logan Magpies outfit.
The Suzuki Brisbane Tigers jump up to third on the ladder ahead of a bye round.

After almost a month between fixtures, our Colts returned to the winners’ circle with a strong win at home against Souths Logan Magpies.
The four-tries-to-one victory sees our Suzuki Brisbane Tigers consolidate third-position on the Hastings Deering Colts ladder, only behind competition leaders Tweed Seagulls on for-and-against.
Tigers’ fullback Lachlan West continued his red-hot form with 266 run metres and four tackle breaks, while prop Casey Morgan was sensational with a try, 195 run metres, six tackle busts and a huge 35 tackles with no misses.
