Grant claims Patron’s Best and Fairest Award for 2022

Jordan Grant has edged his name in Suzuki Brisbane Tigers history claiming the club’s Patron’s Best & Fairest Medal for season 2022.

The 28-year-old Melbourne Storm contracted forward claimed his first Patron’s Best & Fairest Medal at the Tigers Player Awards at Victoria Park on Tuesday 4th October.

After only playing six Hostplus Cup Queensland Cup games in 2021 due to the NRL COVID bubble, Grant has been simply outstanding in 2022.

While not on NRL duties, the Tigers forward appeared in 12 of a possible 19 games in the regular season making each performance count.

Grant finished on 19 points, six in front of Jayden Nikorima (13) and nine in front of Tony Pellow (10) and Solomona Faataape (10).

After having won his first Best and Fairest award for the club, Grant was also named the Tigers ‘Past Players & Officials’ Best Forward of the year.

Papua New Guinea Kumul international Daniel Russell claimed the Jack Loth Medal, which is the Club’s most prestigious award and is awarded to the player on playing ability, dedication, will to win, conduct and integrity.
