Salam Tigers bound

Townsville Blackhawks centre Bacho Salam will join the Suzuki Brisbane Tigers for the 2022 season.

Salam, 24, was a member of the Blackhawks Intrust Super Cup side for the past four seasons.

In 2021, he scored 5 tries, had 5 try assists, 15 tackle breaks and 6 line breaks from 9 games.

The Mossman Sharks junior credited his move due to wanting a “fresh new start at this great club and the opportunity to link with the Melbourne Storm”.

Speaking of his 2022 season aspirations, Salam said “I want to improve on playing consistent footy every week and being better than I was in 2021″.

Welcome to the Tigers family Bala Bach!
