Former Wests Tigers prop Wesley Lolo will join the Suzuki Brisbane Tigers for the 2022 season.
Lolo, 27, comes to the Tigers after spending his 2021 season playing for FC Lezignan XIII in France’s domestic Elite One Championship competition.
Speaking of his move to the Tigers, the Niue international said “I’m definitely looking forward to the change of scenery”.
“I have experienced going international and I think my mental maturity at the moment suits my move to Queensland. It’s the right place at the right time.
“Not only that, there was a lot of honesty from the coach (Jon Buchanan) behind the direction and intentions of the club.
“I was really convinced that I was in good hands from the coaching staff to learn and to improve myself”, he added.
Lolo will join Darius Farmer, Tony Pellow, Bacho Salam and Will Samuel for Melbourne Storm’s pre-season as a part of the club’s feeder club allocation.
