The Suzuki Brisbane Tigers are pleased to launch the 2022 Indigenous Jersey Auction, in support of Tigers charity partner Small Steps for Hannah.

The auctions will end at midnight Monday 1 August, 2022 and are exclusively available via thetigers.com.au. Please note that not all player worn jerseys are available.

Represents the Totems of Suzuki Brisbane Tigers Indigenous Players – Goanna (Bennett Leslie), Emu (Oliver Pascoe), Wedge Tailed Eagle (Tony Pellow), Wood Duck and Owl (Brett Greinke).
CIRCLES IN THE MIDDLE
Represents a meeting ground – where teams of people from across the country come together to meet in an exchange of ideas. This is a symbol for a Brisbane Tigers home game. It’s a place where we come together as a team to work towards a common goal and fight a fair fight against another team. This shows Teamwork, but also Honesty and Integrity in playing a fair game to the best of our ability.
LINES COMING INTO THE CIRCLE (LEFT & RIGHT EDGES)
Represents the Brisbane River – this used to be a major connection route for the people of the land to their community. This is the Tigers connection to the Brisbane community. The symbols around the river are fans and spectators, coming in from everywhere to the games or cheering on from home. This shows the Passion of fans and their dedication to our team that they will always be cheering us on whether at the game, from home or in spirit.
TRACKS
Represents the Kangaroo – an animal that cannot walk backwards. Much like the Tigers founders, old boys, current players and up and coming junior squads. The Tigers always move forwards whilst acknowledging the work of those that came before. This highlights our Aspirational qualities and our
Accountability.
