The Suzuki Brisbane Tigers will discontinue the livestreaming of games from Totally Workwear Stadium in 2021.

The Queensland Rugby League (QRL) is the host broadcaster for Intrust Super Cup from 2021 and holds the broadcast rights for Intrust Super Cup regular season fixtures.

The QRL will broadcast one Intrust Super Cup game per week and twenty in total. The double-header broadcasts will include matches from the BHP Premiership and the Hastings Deering Colts.

Last week, the QRL announced the streaming of an additional game per week which will be available and exclusive on Kayo Freebies.

Tigers CEO Brian Torpy said the Club is very disappointed that TigerTV would no longer be able to livestreaming games.

“I feel for not only for our fans, but also for those of our visiting regional clubs who are unable to get to games”, Torpy added.

The Club wished to thank the members of the TigerTV crew, who work tirelessly to bring the Intrust Super Cup to the fans.

However, TigerTV is not lost, but will now concentrate on our new mid-week show, ‘League and More’,  which will cover the Tigers progress in the Intrust Super Cup as well as other QRL state-wide competitions such as the Hastings Deering Colts and the BHP Premiership.

You can watch the first episode here where host John Devine discusses; and previews Round 1 of the Intrust Super Cup against Norths Devils, a recap of the 2020 season, a reflection on the 1991 Grand Final reunion and more. Guests this episode include; Head Coach Jon Buchanan, Pathways Manager Mark Gliddon, Easts Tigers Legend Gavin Payne and Club CEO Brian Torpy.
