The Suzuki Brisbane Tigers wish to advise that due to the COVID breakout in Brisbane, the NRL have made the difficult decision to withdraw NRL contracted players effective immediately.

This has resulted in the Tigers Intrust Super Cup Round 2 clash against Townsville Blackhawks at Jack Manksi Oval be postponed until Sunday, 28 March 1pm. The game was due to be played on Saturday, 27 March 4pm.

Six (6) Tigers players will be flown to Townsville replacing Melbourne Storm players; Isaac Lumelume, Brenko Lee (late addition), Marion Seve, Dean Ieremia, Aaron Pene and Lupe Tivalu.

Melbourne Storm development players Aaron Booth and Daniel Atkinson will be playing in the Tigers Intrust Super Cup and Hastings Deering Colts clashes respectively.
