TIGERS ANNOUNCE SIDE FOR CHARITY CUP

TIGERS ANNOUNCE SIDE FOR CHARITY CUP

The Suzuki Easts Tigers have named their squad to play the BMD Wynnum Manly Seagulls at BMD Kougari Oval for the Charity Cup this Saturday 17 February.

The trial will see experience players Jake Foster, Shane Neumann, Linc Port and Jack Svendsen play their first trial for 2018, whilst former South Sydney Rabbitoh David Tyrrell will make his first appearance.

Young Tigers Josh Ralph, Heath Wilson and Kea Pere will play after impressing the Tiger’s coaching staff against Burleigh. At only 18, Pere was solid in the centres for the Tigers at Mudgeeraba on Saturday night and will push for a spot in the side’s final trial against the Sunshine Coast Falcons on Saturday week.

The Tigers will be looking to win the Charity Cup after being beaten by the Seagulls at Suzuki Stadium last year.

The Charity Cup is an initiative between the clubs whereby all gate takings are donated to the club’s charities: Easts Tigers – Livin, ‘It aint weak to speak’ and the Wynnum Manly Seagulls – Men of League.

If you can’t make it to BMD Kougari Oval, the match is being live-streamed, via https://livestream.com/accounts/9436031/events/8054329
