BUTTERFIELD RE-SIGNS WITH THE TIGERS

Easts Tigers has today announced the re-signing of popular hooker Tommy Butterfield.
The Tigers 2015 Player of the Year, Butterfield will remain a Tiger until the end of the 2017 season.
The 2015 Queensland Residents representative rake, Butterfield has played 88 Intrust Super Cup games for Tigers.
Butterfield toured with the Papua New Guinea squad in 2007 and played against the Australia’s Prime Minister’s XIII in 2009.
Easts Tigers coach Scott Sipple said he was very happy to have a player of Tommy’s ability remain on-board with the Club.
“Tommy is the true spirit of this Club. He is a fierce competitor and plays well above his weight.
“He is a true leader and is well liked and respected by the playing group”, Sipple said.
