Premiership winner Bernard Gregorius will join the Suzuki Brisbane Tigers for the 2022 season.
Gregorius, 30, was a member of the Norths Devils premiership squad that beat Wynnum Manly Seagulls in the 2021 Intrust Super Cup grand final at Moreton Daily Stadium.
In 2021, he scored 3 tries, had 5 try assists, 38 tackle breaks and 7 line breaks from 10 games.
The New Zealand born centre chose to join the club after speaking with current Tigers mates Darren Nicholls and Brett Greinke.
“I know a couple of the Tigers players in Darren Nicholls and Brett Greinke. I spoke to Dezzie about potentially moving and he introduced me to JB (Jon Buchanan)”, said Gregorius.
“I spoke to JB and he was such a good guy that it made me want to join.
“The club has a really good history and is looking to rebuild in a positive way and so I wanted to be a part of it”, he added.
Speaking of his 2022 season aspirations, Gregorius said “I want to be the best player I can possibly be and of course my NRL aspirations will always be there as well winning another premiership”.
Welcome to the Tigers family Bernard!
